Colin
Colin Prentice is a Canadian singer songwriter currently based in Ottawa, Ontario. Inspired by the guitar playing and songwriting of John Lennon, Colin picked up the guitar at age 17 and co-founded the rock band “Baby Richman” in Pembroke, Ontario with 3 close friends. Nearly 10 years later, that same band (through several line up changes) is poised to record and release its debut album in 2023 with Juno award winning producer Nixon Boyd (Hollerado) at the helm. The band also recently landed a residency gig at the Lowertown Brewery in downtown Ottawa doing “Live Band Karaoke” and aims to gig extensively throughout the rest of 2023 and beyond. Colin brings a love and knowledge of music that he aims to pass onto the next generation of musicians in whatever way he can, whether it be through teaching his students to sing, gig, song-write or market themselves!
